Israeli archaeologists have discovered the largest underground quarry in the Holy Land. Professor Adam Zertal believes the cave, near the ancient West Bank city of Jericho, was dug over 2000 years ago and was used for half a millennium. A variety of symbols are carved into the walls including Christian and Roman legionary emblems.
