Jesus Christ Face seen on Google Earth Monday, Jul 5 2010

INTERNET fan Zach Evans told yesterday how he found Jesus – on Google Earth.

The 26-year-old recognised Christ’s image as he trawled the map site looking for holiday destinations. The bearded messiah can be seen clearly in satellite pictures of a field on farmland near Puspokladany, Hungary.

Sales assistant Zach, of Southampton, said: “I’m not a religious person looking for images of Mary or Jesus in everything, but this is obvious.”Last week nurse Alex Cotton, 38, spotted the face of Jesus in a drainpipe stain in Coventry.Toby Elles, 22, from Salford, Manchester, has found it burned into pan fat.It was in the grain of an Ikea toilet door in Braehead, Scotland, and on a burnt iron in Massachusetts.(Read More…….)

Empire’s sexiest men in 2009 Thursday, Nov 5 2009

1 Johnny Depp

Why is he right on top? Well, he's the one star who's got everything. Lean, sinewy body, attractive shoulders, a dashing smile isn't all. He's goofy, loopy, with a hint of androgyny. And his talents are numerous. And he makes no show about it ever. That's enough to have us hook, line and sinker.

2 Robert Pattinson

He came. We Saw. He conquered. We fell like nine pins when we laid eyes on him as the incredibly good-looking but doomed Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire. And with Twilight, we surrendered without a whimper.

3 Robert Downey Jr

3_Robert_Downey Jr

This man has been waltzing in and out of hearts and transient minds thanks to rehab. But we're glad he's back with Iron Man. Now stay put, Downey Jr, and we'll show you the love of a life time!

4 Brad Pitt

The 'Bra' from Brangelina makes it into the top 5. Yes, we're still unhappy that he keeps a low profile. Why deny us of the visual pleasure, Pitt. Yes, Jolie is hot. But we like you too. And his most recent appearance in Inglorious Basterds is no salve. That handlebar moustache just doesn't fly. We'll wait for him to show up in all his glory. In the mean time, the reruns of the Oceans series will have to suffice. Sigh!

5 Christian Bale

The middle spot is taken up by the one star we feel safe ogling at from a distance. Why the distance? Well, he even made the character in American Psycho oddly attractive. Now that can't be good. We've got a feeling if we get any closer to this hunk, things could get fatal. It's bad enough we're breathless every time we lay eyes on him.

6 Hugh Jackman

He's hands down the nicest star in Hollywood. He's so nice we can't even get ourselves to grudge his wife. We bet no star has an easy time envying his numerous skills ranging from singing to dancing as he's just too darn endearing!

7 George Cloney

His half-smirk is to die for! He may have had a pot-bellied pig for pet, he may fancy waitresses, but he's still George Clooney, the most eligible bachelor in tinsel town. Give him a bat mobile or give him some chips for poker, he'll still have us sighing over his quizzical frown. Yes, we attempted verse. That's how much we adore him!

8 Alan Rickman

Professor Snape from the Harry Potter franchise certainly isn't the hottest man around. And that's what makes him so desirable! Take a hint, boys. Women don't always go for chiseled abs and muscular arms. Sarcasm and a great voice work great too!

9 James McAvoy

would've thought the carrot top in The Last King of Scotland would make Forest Whitaker's skills take a back seat. This scrawny actor is just so incredibly irresistible with those soulful blue eyes. He's got us so hooked that we'll even swallow his lame role in Wanted.

10 Gerard Butler

With little less than a metre of cloth, a sword and shield, this Scott stormed his way into our heart in the Spartan action flick 300. We

But some fans protested outside the screenings, saying the film covers up Jackson’s declining health. The dedicated fans, who have set up a campaign called This Is Not It, are accusing concert promoter AEG Live of putting too much pressure on the star during the build up to his 50-date run at London’s O2 Arena.

Margarita Ruhl:The German Top Model Saturday, Jul 11 2009

Meet Margarita Ruhl, currently competing alongside Germany’s elite beauties to be crowned the winner of Germany’s Next Topmodel. The show, hosted by FHM favourite Heidi Klum, will whittle down an original pool of nearly twenty hopefuls to just one winner. And that one winner should then (unless she blows it) go on to cultivate a stratospheric pay packet, be the proud owner of Germany’s most revered brustwarze and sign-on for a pay-per-view, all-you-can-drink showdown with David Hasselhoff. Or not.

But the real news? We shot Margarita back in December, as part of the FHM Advent Calendar. And if she’s as popular in Germany as she was with readers, well, just remember where you saw here first.

Playboy want naked Winslet Wednesday, Jul 8 2009

IF an Oscar, two Golden Globes and a Bafta aren’t enough for KATE WINSLET – she’s now been bestowed with another honour. HUGH HEFNER has offered the British actress a spot on the cover of Playboy with a nude spread inside.
If Kate takes Hugh up on his offer she would follow in the footsteps of MARILYN MONROE, SHARON STONE, PAMELA ANDERSON and fellow Oscar winner CHARLIZE THERON.

The 82-year-old Playboy boss told a newspaper: “There’s no question we would be interested in Kate. “It’s a competitive market, more than it used to be, so she would be a most welcome addition in our pages.” Kate has been filmed topless in many of her movies, including Academy Award victors The Reader and Titanic. But she has vowed to never again appear naked on screen again, for fears of being typecast. She said: “I don’t want to be known as that actress who gets her kit off.”

World’s First Weightless Wedding Tuesday, Jun 23 2009

LOVE IS IN THE AIR, LITERALLY The bride wore white and earrings resembling tiny planets, the groom a tuxedo and cuff links shaped like spacecraft, and the wedding party attended in blue jump suits.New York City couple Erin Finnegan and Noah Fulmor floated into matrimony on Saturday thousands of feet (metres) above the Gulf of Mexico in what organizers said was the world’s first weightless wedding held in zero gravity conditions.
UPSIDE DOWN – ON TOP OF THE WORLD The couple exchanged wedding vows and rings – with some difficulty – and fumbled their kiss flying weightless inside the padded fuselage of a specially modified Boeing 727-200 aircraft, G-Force One, operated by Zero Gravity Corp, or ZERO-G, a company offering weightless flight experiences.

FLIGHT OF FANCY To recreate the weightless experience without going into space, the plane executed parabolic flight maneuvers, climbing sharply and descending several times during the one-hour flight.
VERTICAL LIMIT The couple didn’t drop the ring – but there was momentary confusion when someone else’s wedding band floated off a finger and into the wedding group, before it was rescued.

HAPPY FEET “I’ve waited my whole life for this … what I remember most was the feeling of weightlessness, both physically and emotionally,” Fulmor said.

Russian Oil Magnate Launches $490 Million Luxury Yacht Tuesday, Jun 16 2009

The largest, most expensive private yacht in history — complete with its own swimming pool, mini-submarine and missile defense system — may soon be coming to a marina near you. The $490 million Eclipse is the latest display of wealth from Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, the U.K.’s Daily Mail newspaper reported. The yacht is chock full of safety features for the Chelsea soccer team boss, including Abramovich’s armor-plated master suite and the bullet-proof windows. The submarine doubles as an escape pod.

Onlookers could only stare in awe as the mega-boat departed from the Blohn and Voss shipyard in Hamburg, Germany, the Daily Mail reported. At 557 feet long, the ship overshadows the next-largest luxury yacht, a 525-footer owned by Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, according to the Mail.

The ship will be the fourth yacht in Abramovich’s fleet, the paper reported. He has often used his yachts to entertain prospective Chelsea soccer players and powerful British bankers. His latest baby is due to be complete by 2010.

5 Most Popular Honeymoon Spots in the World Saturday, Jun 13 2009

If you want beautiful blue skies and sandy beaches, but crave a little history as well, then look no further than Greece for your honeymoon destination. Warm summers and mild winters combined with an average yearly rainfall of only 55 inches (1.39 meters) in Athens have made Greece a very popular choice for beachcombers who have been to the Caribbean one too many times [source:]. While you’re there, you can book boat trips and overnight stays to some of the Greek Islands like Crete or Mykonos, or tour historic Athens, home to the Roman Forum and the Acropolis. Even if you aren’t into sports, you’ll probably appreciate touring Olympia, site of the first Olympic Games.

Mexico is a popular honeymoon spot for many Americans because of its proximity to the United States and the value it offers. Because of the location, plane flights to most destinations in Mexico can be had on the cheap with some advanced preparation. One advantage of a honeymoon is that it’s usually planned out months in advance so you can take advantage of the best fares. Mexico has some of the most popular resorts in Central America, so if your goal is to lie around by the pool or on the beach without lifting a finger, then it’s a good option to explore.

Nothing says luxury and relaxation quite like French Polynesia. During the dry season, which runs from April to September, you’ll encounter temperatures between 68 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit (20 and 28 Celsius), and it’s unlikely you’ll see much rain . This makes Tahiti an ideal spot for honeymooners who want to enjoy maximum beach time. Like Greece, there are many surrounding islands if you want to plan an overnight boating trip. Bora Bora’s famous lagoon is home to some of the best snorkeling in the world.

Even before Hawaii was voted in as the 50th U.S. state in 1959, it was a popular vacation spot for regular folks and honeymooners alike. It held down the top spot in the Modern Brides magazine honeymoon destination poll for a solid decade until being unseeded in 2008. There are hundreds of islands that make up Hawaii over a 1,500-mile (2,400-kilometer) span in the Pacific Ocean, but the most popular three islands are Hawaii (The Big Island), O’ahu and Maui. Hawaii is home to a diverse ecosystem of jungles, mountains and beaches . Like many of its island counterparts, you can have whatever kind of honeymoon you want in Hawaii. Luxurious resorts and beach villas can ensure five-star lodging and dining, or you can get off the tourist trail and rough it in an eco-resort.

As the popular Dean Martin song goes, “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s amore.” Honeymooners eager to take in some of Europe’s finest offerings need not look further than Italy. It’s got a little something for everyone — great food, wine, culture, nightlife, romance and history. Italy has enough cities of interest to merit a full few weeks to travel around, if time and your budget permits. You can start in Rome, site of the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, the Vatican and the Trevi Fountain. What’s more romantic for a newly-wedded couple than casting a coin and wish into the same fountain that Audrey Hepburn did in the classic film “Roman Holiday”? But that’s just one of more than 300 fountains in Rome.
